We are seeking a driven, people-first Team Lead to guide and grow our Acquisition Team. This role is essential to ensuring strong procurement execution, team accountability, and a positive, high-performing culture. The Team Lead will act as both a tactical leader and strategic partner, working closely with leadership and analysts to support mission success and professional development.
Candidate will perform and lead life cycle acquisition support for requirements in the areas of planning, acquisition execution, monitoring and controlling, tracking, and close-out.

Core Responsibilities
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $110,000.00. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support team members; provide input on performance and career development
- Serve as an Acquisitions capability champion, ensuring team readiness, tools, and skills align with evolving needs
- Support proposal development, including reviewing requirements and contributing to responses
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day tasking and procurement troubleshooting
- Identify business triggers, anticipate risks, and communicate issues to leadership
- Approve timesheets and ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements
- Communication & Transparency: Keep teams aligned, provide leadership updates, and serve as a trusted liaison
- Accountability & Support: Model ownership, provide timely feedback, and support problem-solving
- Development & Mentorship: Build confidence, critical thinking, and individual strengths across the team
- Team Culture: Promote respect, inclusion, collaboration, and recognition; address issues promptly
- Process & Efficiency: Streamline workflows, create documentation and training, and advocate for improvements
- Leadership Engagement: Partner with leadership on strategy, capacity, and team wellbeing; proactively flag risks and propose solutions
- Current Journeyman-level Analyst
- Leadership, mentorship, or coordination experience preferred
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organized, and invested in team success
- Meet (preferably exceed) rating from the 2025 Assessment period
- Strong customer relations, analytical, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; adaptable to evolving technology
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business, or other related discipline, required.
- At least three (3) years of acquisitions related experience.
- Navy ERP experience, desired
