KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Full Stack Developer, to join our team. This position will be ON SITE in Dahlgren, VA every day. This position does not allow remote work.

As a Full Stack Developer you will be part of a team charged with providing engineering and systems operations engineering in support of current and future Combat System (CS) Command and Control (C2) functions.
Together the team supports V Department with systems engineering, software engineering and fleet support, element evaluation and system test support and development/production environment support. V14 has a need for a software developer work on Web Application that will deploy Tactical as a Service (TaaS). We are looking for a candidate familiar with version control technologies such as Git, virtualization technologies such as VMware and vCenter, and popular development tools like VSCode.
Primary Duties:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance. This position will allow an individual to complete the process of obtaining a security clearance before starting.
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

Primary Duties:
- Develop well-designed, efficient, and testable code for the full stack using industry standards and best practices
- Ensure all code contributions include reviews for test coverage, style guidelines, accuracy, and efficiency
- Integrate data from back-end services and databases
- Debug, test, and fix errors and issues in software front-end and back-end
- Continuously update documentation as required to ensure maintainability and transparency of design
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and APIs
- Proven experience with Bash, or other UNIX based shells
- Experience Frontend & Backend design
- Experience with Git, SVN, or any version control software
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- IDEs, preferably Visual Studio Code, desired
- Experience with CI/CD systems, preferably GitLab CI, desired
- Understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB), desired
- Proficiency with RedHat, preferably RHEL 8, desired
- Knowledge of Python modules such as Celery, Pandas, and NumPy, desired
- Experience with VMware/Virtualization technologies, desired
- Knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI, desired
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
- At least three (3) years of experience in software development with specific experience in Full stack development using JavaScript, CSS, Python, and SQL and Docker/Containerization
