KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our team. This position is a part-time role.

This internship position will work directly with our Enterprise Platforms and AI team on multiple projects. The intern will learn directly from a senior data analytics SME on mission-critical applications.

Primary Duties:

Provide Data Engineering support across various platforms, including Databricks, Advana, and Palantir Foundry, encompassing data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline optimization.
Develop and maintain scalable data workflows to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Support Data Science projects by applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex problems and extract actionable insights.
Learn and leverage tools within the Advana/Jupyter Data and AI ecosystem, contributing to innovation aligned with the NAWCAD Wolf Tech Roadmap.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering and data science solutions into mission-critical applications.
Document processes and best practices for reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

Education and Experience:

Currently a junior or senior pursuing either a Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher-level degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a similarly related field.
At least one year of experience working on the platforms listed. Experience working with statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques is required.

Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position will require the candidate to be able to receive a Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include, but are not limited to, location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
