KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, to join our team.

We are seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to manage our digital presence and drive brand engagement. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day execution of our social media strategy, create compelling digital content, and support broader marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for visual design, and a strong understanding of current digital trends.

Primary Duties:
  • Content Creation & Scheduling: Design graphics, shoot videos, write captions, and schedule posts using a content calendar.
  • Community Engagement: Reply to comments, answer direct messages, and build positive conversations with followers.
  • Develops and maintains positive business relationships with staff.
  • Consults with staff to understand goals and scope of the desired marketing program.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing, social media content, and SEO strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
  • Track, analyze, and report monthly KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth) to optimize future content performance.
  • Collaborates with and coordinates communication among stakeholders to complete projects.
  • Maintains current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques.
  • Maintain and update the company website, (WordPress), including publishing blog posts, updating product/service pages, ensuring copy is accurate, and monitoring basic site functionality.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep our strategies innovative and competitive.
  • Manages company brand guidelines ensuring all content and marketing materials are in line with guidelines.
  • Create and distribute company newsletters quarterly, working with multiple departments and leadership for content.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in social media management, content creation, branding, and digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to craft compelling written content with excellent proofreading skills for clarity and impact
  • Thorough understanding of internet marketing and general marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of social media and website design.
  • Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics
  • Ability to implement marketing plans
  • Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
  • Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues

​Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience managing social media, digital marketing, or related communications role, defense contracting industry experience, a plus.
  • Experience working with WordPress websites, preferred
  • Experience in graphic design with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Compensation: 
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
