KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Graphic Artist, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will work at a government site in St. Inigoes, MD. This is an SCA position.

This position will perform work with the courseware production team to design and develop graphic/visual effects used in courseware material.
Primary Duties:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The hourly rate for this position is $33.71. This position is classified in an SCA labor category. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

Primary Duties:
- Requires use of specialized computer software to develop high quality computer illustrations, technical drawings, and animations supporting various media used within the training curriculum.
- Capable of using specialized hardware and/or software for video/audio capture and editing of multimedia presentations, incorporates principles of layout design throughout the courseware production process, and is responsible for quality control, review and revision of all aspects of graphics development.
- Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
- May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects.
- Developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience working with various graphic design software such as the Adobe suite.
