KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Budget/Financial Analyst, Senior, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will work at a government site in St. Inigoes, MD.

This position will provide comprehensive budget execution support, financial, accounting, and cost data reporting for a division of NAVAIR.
Primary Duties:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include, but are not limited t,o location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $138,000.00. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

This position will provide comprehensive budget execution support, financial, accounting, and cost data reporting for a division of NAVAIR.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct detailed quantitative analysis of financial data and offer strategic recommendations to project managers to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Develops budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and regulations while analyzing budgeting and accounting reports to identify trends and potential issues.
- Utilizes Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to perform financial execution functions and support data calls as required.
- Direct and mentor junior analysts and conduct training as necessary to enhance their understanding and application of analytical techniques and methodologies.
- Financial management experience, including financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, and program status reports.
- Working knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR); FAR; and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes.
- Capable of performing detailed analysis of complex data to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to apply financial management practices to ensure validity/accuracy of metrics and reporting results.
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines

- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Master’s Degree in a technical, business, financial, computer science, or information technology discipline.
- In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, financial, computer science, or information technology discipline, plus an additional eight (8) years of work experience, can be substituted.
- In lieu of a degree, an additional twelve (12) years of work experience can be substituted
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant financial experience.
- At least three (3) years of the most recent five (5) years of experience must have been directly supporting tasking in N-ERP.
