This position will analyze data/information from one or multiple sources to conduct preparation of the environment, respond to requests for information, and submit intelligence collection and production requirements in support of planning and operations.
Primary Duties:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include, but are not limited to, location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

Primary Duties:
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
- Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
- May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Provide staff and users with assistance in solving computer-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
- Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
- Use the computer in the analysis and solutions of business problems, such as the development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.
- Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
- Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes, and multimedia and Internet technology.
- Analyze information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Specify inputs accessed by the system and plan the distribution and use of the results.
- Expand or modify the system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
- Determine the computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter systems.
- Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.
- Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems and correct errors by correcting codes.
- Write code to perform desired actions.
- Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree plus an additional four (4) years of related work experience may be substituted
- In lieu of a degree, an additional six (6) years of related work experience may be substituted
- At least one (1) year of related work experience as a systems administrator or similar role
- CompTIA Security + Certification, required
- CompTIA A+ Certification, desired
- CompTIA Network+ Certification, desired
- Certified Network Defender (CND) Certification, desired
