KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Financial Systems Analyst, to join our team. This position will require onsite work at NIWC in Charlston, SC. This position is contingent upon contract award.

This position will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.
Primary Duties:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

This position will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.
Primary Duties:
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
- Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
- May conduct training sessions for company or Government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
- Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
- Manage finances across multiple funding types. Track budgets, costs, and variances.
- Produce executive summaries. Conduct financial reporting and analysis on financial issues and customer requirements.
- Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.
- Ability to provide interpret and apply financial management principles; and apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.
- Proficient in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of financial/analytical software (spreadsheets); have experience related to working as part of a team in the delivery of product or service; and have experience working with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model.
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Three (3) years of experience providing financial management support to a program/project and/or corporate operations department
- Notable experience providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets; measuring organizational performance; assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- Experience examining budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Experience may include employing cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
