We are seeking a driven and people-first Team Lead to guide, support, and grow our SOS PM Team. This role is pivotal to ensuring our team operates with excellence, transparency, and accountability while fostering a strong and supportive team culture. The Team Lead will serve as both a tactical driver and a strategic partner, working closely with leadership and analysts to ensure the successful execution of projects and the professional development of team members.

Primary Duties:
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop team members by providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Provide input on performance assessments and career development
- Serve as a capability champion, ensuring team readiness, tools, and skills align with evolving needs
- Support proposal development efforts, including reviewing requirements and contributing to responses
- Act as the first line of defense for day-to-day task questions and project-related troubleshooting
- Recognize and communicate business triggers to anticipate risks and support leadership decisions
- Approve timesheets and ensure compliance with internal reporting timelines

Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a current Journeyman-level Project/Management Analyst
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or coordination experience preferred
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organized, and deeply invested in team success
- Must have received a meets, preferably exceeds, expectations assessment rating from the 2024 Assessment cycle
- Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
